1976...One Man and a Machine.

Stainless Steel Services was founded in 1976 by current owner and President, Rick Stewart. Prior to SSS opening its doors, Rick's family was operating a 4th generation fabrication business which dealt heavily in the nuclear power sector.

When a particular project required special stainless polishing for a power plant’s reactor pool liners, there wasn't a North American polisher capable of meeting the stringent requirements for the job…So, they did it themselves and Stainless Steel Services was formed to meet these, and other exacting polish requirements.

Since day one, Stainless Steel Services has set the bar for customer service and polishing quality – and continues to lead the standards of excellence to satisfy the changing needs of the industry; large or small, common or complex.
